The cosy small space serving some of the spiciest chicken dishes sits in the heart of busiest and liveliest lanes in west end of Glasgow. Casual but comfortable the Dixie brand was developed by the local graphic company Saved by Robots.

With a tag 'Kebabs done right' this project is based on an offering that not only treats the customer to a variety of food from the across theMediterranean but creates an environment that makes you feel like the Mediterranean Coast is only minutes away. The subtle hints of custom made brass fittings, hand made tiling and back lit textures are some of the key features noted while in the space.

Arka was commissioned from the outset of the process from advising on location to design and project managing. Since it first opened
the doors to the public two years ago in glasgow, BMB have now launched its second unit in Edinburgh.

Prep Fitness Kitchen is a new concept city centre restaurant and take away aimed at the fitness concious. The interior will make any gym bunny feel like they are in familiar surroundings with recognisable features like reclaimed gym flooring, motivational posters, bench seating and climp bar partition.

DINING IN WITH MOTHER INDIA

This is our second project with the team at Mother India.
The concept for Dining In, was to create a deli and informal restaurant that would be a warm, comfortable, relaxed space overlooking one of Glasgow’s most famous landmarks - the Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
‘Dining in’ plan to sell not only beautifully prepared meals to enjoy in the new interior, but also chilled meals along with all the ingredients needed to create your own curry at home.

Our client came to us with a very difficult space located in the basement of Mother India. The site came with many challenges including very low ceilings and no natural light.
We only had eight weeks to complete the project in time for the Christmas season. The pressure was on, but no detail was spared.
Our approach was to create a warm, intimate, softly lit interior that customers would enjoy spending time in.

LITTLE CAFE

Situated in a corner of a three story tenement the LITTLE cafe was a challenge in many ways. Having gone through the process in obtaining planning and building control permission, set within the 60sqm unit. The challenge was to design a cafe where it’s costumers will feel comfortable and welcoming while eating , drinking coffee or dropping by for a chat.
