PROJECT DETAIL
The transformation of these towers involved cladding the existing ground floor concrete structure with natural stone, creating residents common rooms at the base and refurbishing the landings of these 25 floor towers. Externally new terraces which extend the common rooms are enclosed with screen walls. Improved access ramps, doors and screens complete the transformation

Natural stone is widely associated with quality, durability and expense. Natural stone has been used extensively to raise standards and convey quality throughout the project.
CARRON CRESCENT
GLASGOW
The over cladding of 550 houses and multi storey flats on the Carron Estate in Springburn for NG Homes in 2012. The external over cladding not only reduced the residents heating bills and drafts but also significantly improved the visual appearance of the entire estate and thus the wellbeing of the residents.
